We stayed 3 nights and we found the unit very clean, warm and cosy. Lovely fresh clean towels every day and nice hot water for showering. We found the bed very comfortable, the staff were also very friendly. It served our purpose very well and we would definately stay there again. We did not use the restaurant because we had family in Queanbeyan and had all our meals with them. The only staff I saw was host and he was excellent, very helpful, cooked great breakfast. He provided cable for internet quickly as I was due in a webinar on arrival. He was very eager to assist in any way. Could have had more power points in room. Host so eager to please when informed he said he'd provide power board in room for future.
所有评语 » This unit was so clean. The mini kitchenette was very convenient. The neighbourhood is very quiet and so was the whole motel. Check in with Eddie was quick and pleasant. Altogether a very good place to stay while visiting Canberra. Friendly staff, good location, quiet, no hassles with other guests, place to park off-street, extra blanket, extra pillow, iron and board, everything worked, clean, comfortable bed, spare tissues, toilet roll, etc. Eddy, who manages the place. Couldn't ask for a better host, nothing was a problem for him. And the cooked breakfast was something to die for! All round, a comfortable place , in all respects, to stay. Very good custome service. Very friendly. really appreciated the phonecall as I was travelling down to confirm my arrival time and the placement of the keys. Good motel, situated near Canberra. Cleanliness and comfort of the room was good. It was very convenient to have a fridge and a microwave in the room. The room was clean and orderly and the bed comfy. Free Internet was appreciated. The checkin guy even gave me an Ethernet cable to ensure high speed. Very handy to Canberra,good to have microwave. Manager very friendly & rearranged for a ground floor unit on arrival. Good sized rooms. Easily the best in the area. It's quiet, has extra facilities (microwave) and a great TV. Quiet too - not too much road noise. I liked the fact that it is close to the station and the shops and public transport . It has a microwave and a toaster. Good location close to shopping strip, good value for money for a single traveller. Simple rooms but effective. Central location. Clean rooms, friendly staff.Everything is in new condition.Canberra area is really cold in July, fortunately theree were electric blankets and hot airconditioner in the room.Wi-Fi is working perfectly. In two blocks there is a Central Cafe with really king-size portions of meal. We liked this motel and recommending this nice place to others.Parking place provided. Niceandclean and friendly. There is nothing we didn't like. Can't think of anything. All was good. upstairs. The fact that I was under the impression that I had paid for my stay, only to be told this was not the fact. And I believe the fault lays with letsbookhotel.com, not the venue. The hot water took a long while to come through. A minor complaint because once on it was very hot and plentiful. This motel seems to attract 'tradies" which is very noisy very early in the morning,they do not seem to have any regard for others parking space. Although the units are non smoking the workmen sat out side the rooms blowing smoke inside, as well as polluting adjoining unit area.We were booked on 1st floor although when booking I asked for ground floor due to mobility difficulties with stairs. Nothing. Relative to the price everything ok. WiFi not working properly. Big gap around door allowed a constant draft making it difficult to keep the room adequately warm when it was around 8 degrees outside. As it was only a short stay didn't really have time to take full advantage of what Wallaby Motel had to offer. Nothing. none. my allocated parking space was never my space, everyone else parked in it. Lack of extractor fan in bathroom/toilet. On a busy street, the traffic noise started early in the morning. Parking tight. Open style windows in bathroom made it cool. Took length of three showers to get the water warm enough to get into the shower. Nothing. It was on a very busy road - but it was not noisy at night. Decor was outdated. No soap in bathroom. Electric blanket didn't have a power point to connect on one side of the bed. Broken plastic clothes hangers. Overall Maintenance appeared neglected. Failure to mention what facilities are available with our stay eg: Free WiFi. Guests should not have to ask as it is covered in the cost of the stay. This was advertised as a renovated room and we paid $140 for the night. It had a small new vanity and a few new tiles around the mirror. The rest was original I do not call this renovated. I do a considerable amount of travel for work and this room is worth about $95. No soap and no towel for the floor after you shower. worn appearence.
