Used Abbey for the family to attend a family funeral. Impressed considering we usually use Quest. Abbey has everything Quest has except the price tag. Clean well equipped, good value for money. Nice spacious bathroom with good water pressure. Quiet location. The assistance straight away when asked for advice or help .Friendliness generally. Nice place in a quite and relaxing position. The staff in very kind and careful.

The location and staff were great. The location was good. The room was clean . Location. Good, spacious functional motel unit which didn't cost the earth. The Shower was ok. Friendly reception / welcome. convenience to shopping centre and train. Location to Frankston cbd. In a bit if a run down area of Frankston. minor stuff - some lights didn't work, lounge could use updating. We would have preferred plusher towels and somewhere to put things off the floor while showering.eg a bench. Needed refurbishing, very very old kitchen and bathroom. But did notice other rooms had been refurbished, so maybe in the process of upgrading. wifi. Drawers in kitchen didn't close. Smoke alarm positioned incorrectly and went off when oven was heating up. the weather, maybe the bathroom needs to be updated very old. new carpets. No shaving mirror; light switch not next to front door (didn't know how to turn on light when we first arrived!); it's not correct to call it an apartment - it was just like any other motel room with its own bathroom. It was a bit run down, not quite value for money. Very very old and dated. Bed was missing a leg we had to find a brick to prop it up. Kitchen barely usable. Electric stove from the 1960's nearly burnt out. The nightly cost compared to how old and run down the place was, was a little high. It was marketed giving the impression it overlooked the beach and it's not near the beach at all. How old the room was. Although very clean, the unit was tired and had clearly been patched up in many ways. Everything else ! Needs upgrading / refurbishment urgently. Never had contact with manager as she/he? was always out with sign on door. Check-in was key left under mat for room & had to leave key at her/his? door at checkout. Showerhead so low that had to crouch under for head washing & i'm 5ft 4in. Walls very thin, woken by tv at 1.30am in other room & talking. Stained carpets Old tv - not working dvd player - not working Musty smell Undesirable neighbours Not particularly clean No pictures on website of budget accomodation - only more modern ones. Wifi mostly did not work. No room service. Bed not made, bathroom not cleaned. Said that office opened 8 am but nobody there at 8.30 a.m. Ancient TV with Set Top Box not working. Cigarette butts at entrance to room.
