Comfortable room fairly central but not really walking distance to most things. The owners were away so no food was available but the person filling in was very friendly and helpful. Handy brochures in reception led us to the Old Dubbo Jail for a tour (interesting) and to the Dubbo Observatory (unfortunately cancelled due to cloud cover). The location of Green Gables is very quiet but close to the centre of town. The Motel itself is small but clean and comfortable with air conditioning, lcd TV, coffee and tea making facility, microwave oven, the bed was comfortable and the owners were very friendly and the rate is good value.
所有评语 » I stayed there on the way to Queensland and I stayed there without making a booking on the return journey 6 days later. That says it all. If I didn't like it going I wound not have stayed there again. It was fine for what I needed it for. friendly staff motel, excellent customer service, budget accomodation price and a new building for the room with the spa inside, good taste for dinner. Separete bedroom with living room and cleaness and tidyness. Loved the very comfortable bed, good quality linen & the 'black out' curtains darkening the room. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful, & quiet location made for a very enjoyable stay. less than 10 mins to zoo, close to city centre, round the corner from Short St Cafe (recommended!), clean, comfortable, spacious no frills accommodation for a decent price. The warm, friendly greeting upon arrival even though I made an error in my booking..!! The comfortable accommodation, cleanliness and curtains that darkened the room. Excellent low cost accommodation - very friendly manager, even refunded a room we had to cancel late, despite not being obliged to do so. Very highly recommended!. The staff were extremely helpful. We had to stay an extra day due to a medical emergency and they gave us all the information and support we needed. The room was clean everything worked. The bathroom was big and the bed was comfortable. We also liked having a lounge and a dinning table. quiet location close to Western Plains Cultural Centre, a short walk from food outlets and CBD. Generous size parking sites. Close to town. Quite street, no traffic noise. Lovely large shower area. Room well maintained & staff friendly. Very friendly and helpful service from the staff. Quiet location, clean and they take that extra step with windscreen washing facilities provided for travelers. It was good value for the money. It was fairly noisy but it was also full, a lot depends on who your "Neighbours"are, we had people talking outside our door at 4am and the guy loading his car at 6am who opened and shut the car doors continually for about 20mins. no dislikes. Nothing. there is no lunch time at the motel and outdoor swimming pool. There is also no playground for kids. Need to wash kitchen dishes after using them by yourself. There is no air cond in the bedroom, just in the living room. Leaving.. The only thing was the large chair at the writing desk blocked the view of the TV. We moved the chair to the corner of the room and all was good. Nothing. No problems!. The breakfast to your room is excellent, pity there is no restaurant for dinner. The chef was away and there were quite a few tasty choices on the menu. Extremely dangerous tiles in shower recess. Once they are wet and soap hits them are as slippery as wet glass.Accident waiting to happen. We were unable to open our window or door at any time because of the smokers outside. One worker (cleaner?) kept leaving his cigarette on the ashtray on the table outside our room as we were in the first room near reception. the rain. nothing. None. Towels too heavy & rough. bathroon exhaust fan past its use by date. Rooms bit small. Room was a little on the cramped side. Should have Foxtel for the price they ask.
