  The staff was excellent from beginning to the end of our stay. We arrived for the boston marathon as participants and fans and the staff was extremely accomodating and helpful from the check-in, bell service, room service, valet, etc. Under the terrible circumstances during the marathon, the Marriott did an extraordinary job of stepping up and ma... vad folk säger » king our stay very comfortable. - The staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean! Bed very comfortable. I asked the cleaning person to leave me more coffee for the room and left some money for her to take. I had more coffee and she left the money!   Hotel 140 was a great place to stay for me. I was traveling alone and it was located just a block from the train station. The front desk was great to help me in directions of the city. Very friendly staff. Also after I left and was at the train station having a hard time figuring out which way to go, a young man asked if he could help. He was not at work and I did not recognize him so he could h - Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. I discovered that the hotel had upgraded my single room reservation to a Queen size bed (and more spacious room) at no extra charge from my original re

  For the first time I have experienced that the room was just as nice and big as the pictures on the booking page showed.   Very accommodating staff - Located in a quiet side road. Ideal to go shoping by foot. Nice stores (also grocery) close by. As for the rooms it seems to depend on which room you get: I was located 1 block away from Copley House and enjoyed the suite very much.

  The hotel is in a great location. It must be amazing to have a room with a view of the park. Sadly, I wasn't that lucky. The room itself was spacious. The bed was comfortable, but the matress a little worn. I kept sliding to the edge of the bed. The plaid on the bed had holes in it. Flat-screen TV with ample stations. Towels fresh and clean; great smelling bathso - We loved everything. The Taj was perfect for our stay. The staff was very helpful as well as friendly. Before we arrived we had questions about the reservations and hotel amenities, and Kenia Celestino, reservations manager, was extremely attentive. She was very prompt in answering any question we had. Amanda was our turn down attendant at night. She was just the nicest, most gracious and helpful person you could have to get you settled in at night. Housekeeping for our room, 612, was awesome.
