  The first thing we noticed were the beautiful petunia plants planted everywhere around the grounds. The pool and jacuzzi were sparkling clean. The room smelled clean and the linens were fresh and we all felt very clean and comfortable. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, and this place passed the test! I added this hotel to my "f - On the first morning there I had forgotten to place the "do not disturb" sign on our door so the maid wouldn't clean it. Upon our return I became panicked because it was clear it had been clean (my shirt and bra neatly folded on top of the made beds!). What scared us was how we left our camera, i-pad, and computer laying around along with some of my jewelry.   On the first night we did not get much rest due to a party in the adjoining room that lasted until 4am. The hotel refunded our money for that night. I reserved a non smoking room anf on the second night I and my friend awoke to what appeared to be second hand cigarette smoke in our room. They were so patient and attentive to the children that ordered. Great staff from gift shop to the Conceirge. We stayed over Thanksgiving and was recommended some wonderful resturants. It was a great time.

Bring your own sheet or ask for a small one from housekeeping.   The location was excellent. Walking distance to all the action Tahoe has to offer. A big plus is that it's located right next to the best sushi place in South Lake Tahoe!   The room. I requested and received a room for a handicap person and it was that and so much more. The shower was perfect. I could sit and shower on a built in bench. There was movability in the room. Isles were wide enough for a wheelchair. It was downstairs and quiet. Handicap vehicle space was just outside my room door. I would recommend to all who are handicap and needing a motel room. - We were a party of 6, 3 adults and 3 children. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, well positioned for access to the ski gondola and main town with bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and accommodating and always on hand. Facilities were as described and our stay was enjoyed fully by all. We would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again. A big thanks to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

  The owner was awesome! We arrived very late and she checked us in at 2am. We stayed on a weekend and the rate couldn't be beat. The hotel was very clean, good breakfast, and the owner is a great tour guide.   Room was clean and stuff is really friendly and helpful. Room was equipped with all sorts of personal items like shampoos, lotions, deodorants etc. We were allowed to make late check out and that helped a lot since we came in late. So this is a nice family operated hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
