The first thing we noticed were the beautiful petunia plants planted
everywhere around the grounds. The pool and jacuzzi were sparkling
clean. The room smelled clean and the linens were fresh and we all

On the first morning there I had forgotten to place the "do not
disturb" sign on our door so the maid wouldn't clean it. Upon
our return I became panicked because it was clear it had been clean (my
shirt and bra neatly folded on top of the made beds!). What scared us
was how we left our camera, i-pad, and computer laying around along with
some of my jewelry. It was all there when we got back and it was

On the first night we did not get much rest due to a party in the
adjoining room that lasted until 4am. The hotel refunded our money for
that night.
I reserved a non smoking room anf on the second night I and my friend awoke to what appeared to be second hand cigarette smoke in our room. Not sure, but it seemed to be coming from the ventilation. s

Daily happy hour was awesome. The staff was so friendly and willing to
make any drink we could think of. They were so patient and attentive to
the children that ordered. Great staff from gift shop to the Conceirge.
We stayed over Thanksgiving and was recommended some wonderful
resturants. It was a great time.

Kitchen was great! There is a FREE GE Profile washer and dryer on each floor. They also have laundry detergent in your room. They do not have cribs only pack n plays. Bring your own sheet or ask for a small one from housekeeping. They didn't bring one and the mat was questionable. -

The location was excellent. Walking distance to all the action Tahoe has to offer. A big plus is that it's located right next to the best sushi place in South Lake Tahoe! I liked the management very much. The rooms were clean & comfortable, not fancy but nice. The price was terrific! The location was good, in a central location. There was a small refrigerator in the room, as well as a microwave. The motel had internet access, free of charge, which was great!

The room. I requested and received a room for a handicap person and it
was that and so much more. The shower was perfect. I could sit and
shower on a built in bench. There was movability in the room. Isles were
wide enough for a wheelchair. It was downstairs and quiet. Handicap
vehicle space was just outside my room door. Plenty of outlets within

We were a party of 6, 3 adults and 3 children. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, well positioned for access to the ski gondola and main town with bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and accommodating and always on hand.
Facilities were as described and our stay was enjoyed fully by all. We would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again. A big thanks to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

I personally like to enjoy some privacy whenever I'm traveling with
family or friends. And Motel 6 (Lake Tahoe) are amazing people when it

The owner was awesome! We arrived very late and she checked us in at 2am. We stayed on a weekend and the rate couldn't be beat. The hotel was very clean, good breakfast, and the owner is a great tour guide. This is a great value for your money if you need a place to stay to go visit Lake Tahoe! -

Room was clean and stuff is really friendly and helpful. Room was equipped with all sorts of personal items like shampoos, lotions, deodorants etc. We were allowed to make late check out and that helped a lot since we came in late.
So this is a nice family operated hotel.
I would recommend the hotel to other travelers if only they would stay in

Very nice and friendly staff with good recommendations for South Lake Tahoe and the area in general. I would definitely stay here again. It's of course a hostel place so not the highest standard available, but it's well worth the price and it's conveniently located close to both the sea and the state border.

When I booked the room on line it said it came with a refig , none
without making spec request. I requested second floor room near the
elevator had to ask for that when we checked in. -
