  We had a wonderful family getaway. Four adults and my grandson. My grandson loved the pool, waterslide, smores, popcorn, snowcones and dive in movies. We loved the cool water cafe and bar.   Excellent staff that seemed to be genuinely interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible. Although still going through a renovation phase, the Lancaster is a well appointed historic hotel with excellent access to Houston's theatre district and good quality restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was a full buffet rather than a continental breakfast. The complimentary shuttle service was fast and the drivers very courteous and helpful. There was a free wine hour in the evening and room service was prompt. This was the very best experience I've ever had at a hotel!

The only negative was one front desk person who forgot to write down my request for shuttle service to the airport. Good thing I checked back the night before we were schedule to depart.   I loved my stay here. The service was excellent, room service was awesome. Order the pizza, I brought home leftovers. My hubby said he would stay there just for that reason. Also, it's right next door to Grapevine Mills and Bass Pro Outdoor World. Great room! - Friendly staff, airport shuttle, wifi, clean and spacious room. Very quiet.
