  We stayed there a couple of nights during our honeymoon and the place was perfect for that purpose. It's centrally located but still quite and private. The general manager Glen is always there and can assist you in case of any practical problems (we had some). We are also thankful to him that we were allowed to cancel our initial stay back in May,... vad folk säger » without any payment, even though our stay was prepaid. - What a delightful find. Spent 3 nights at the Copper Whale inn. It was very comfortable and homely and location was fantastic. The included breakfast was very tasty. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend the Copper Whale Inn and would certainly stay there again if I was to visit Anchorage again.

  Beautiful grounds, sweet little pond with nice landscaping. Cabins are cute, comfortable and well stocked for cooking. Off the beaten track--in the woods, nice neighborhood for walking.   Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wonderfully spacious with a great view of the river. The staff was friendly and ever so helpful with allowing us to store our luggage after checkout and before our departure. The information on the area was easily available for all the restaurants in the area and the different sight seeing tours. The continental breakfast was just right and was even able to wash a load of laun - People in Alaska were very friendly, but here was awesome! We stayed in May 2013. The best room we had in our trip. We felt like home, (even better!). I still remember the chocolate muffins. Thanks a lot for a piece of peace in a crazy and 24 hour round clock trip in Alaska.

  In all of our travels, I have never stayed anywhere like this. It is a remarkable patch of paradise, with the yurts perched over the most amazing small cove, with views that defy description.   I stayed in 4 different places in 9 days in Alaska and Cabins on the Bluff was far and away the best. I can't say enough good things about Chuck and his awesome cabins. From the greatest view, to everything about the cabin. I was thrilled to be able to cook up a superb piece of halibut and even do a load of laundry at the same time. My only - This was a glorious log cabin done with attention to detail to match the Alaskan wilderness. Plus there was a million dollar view from the 200 foot high bluff!! I checked and hotel rooms were routinely more expensive for this area. If you are going to the Kenia, stay here, you won't regret it.

Upon arrival we found it to be exactly what we were looking for! The food was great, and the breakfast that came with the room was excellent.The recomendations for food outside the Silverbow were spot on. Location was great. Staff were very nice and helpful. The photos in the dining area were great-they made me want to see more of Alaska.

  This lodge has the best view of Mt McKinly from its back overlooking porch. When you check in ask for a room with a view. There are hiking trails. You can sometimes see Moose right outside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. - We had my daughters wedding there.
