  Randy greeted us with a smile even though he thought we had bailed on him. The place was well laid out and neat as a pin. The table in the cabin was set, including placemats. It was homey and cozy. We were only looking for some place to stay near Seward as all the Seward hotels and cabins were booked up. Renfro's is about 15 minutes outside of tow... vad folk säger » n right on a big lake. We were sorry we'd arrived late and had to leave early. It would have been nice just to spend time at Renfro's as there is so m - What a hidden gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Gary, the owner, called that morning to let us know that he would be gone for the afternoon of our arrival but gave us all of the instructions on where the key would be! We loved the remote cabins that were on the lake and in the woods! We took out the peddle boat and enjoyed cruising around the lake and taking in the sites. Cabins were so clean and nice. We will definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

  These cabins are a gem of a find very close to Denali! We absolutely felt like we were home from the welcome sign with our name on the front door to all the amenities. We wanted for absolutely nothing! Bring your food and bodies and the rest is there for your use! Staff was great as well, very laid back and friendly, right down to their dog! Ne... vad folk säger » edless to say we had a great time and wished we had stayed longer than just two nights. Thanks for the memories! - There was only three cabins. It was quiet and cozy! Cabins were stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen. A grill outside and chairs to sit on the deck and enjoy the view. We loved it there! It would be a great place for a couple of familys or friends to stay at all three cabins. It is a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of the Denali crowd. But not to far to go into Denali during the day.

  I stayed at Alaska Grizzly Lodge with my sister from Japan from Sep 21 to 26, 2013. I loved the lodge! The décor was very nice and I was able to feel Alaska everywhere in the lodge and I took a lot of pictures of the lodge and the 3 very friendly and well-mannered dogs! The room was very comfortable and very warm. The host, Anita was very nice an... vad folk säger » d friendly. He made great breakfast every morning and egg casserole was my sister's favorite! She helped us open fresh salmon we got from Yukon River - My wife and I spent 3 most wonderful nights at lodge. We watched aurora borealis Three days in a row from my balcony. Amazing location! Anita, owner of the lodge, provides different but delicious breakfast every day. Since most of us did not bring enough clothes for standing under -20 F outdoors, she offered heavy coats and boots to make our surora viewing so enjoyable. Anita provides lots of advices that make our trip a lovely memory of life time.
