  Hotel room and public areas were very clean. Our room had newer carpet and new shower/tub, very good rainhead shower. Towels, sheets and shower curtain clean. Plenty of parking and small pool in back. Staff were courteous and check in quick. Room had good ac. Beds comfortable and hotel very quiet at night for a good sleep. Price was much lower than other Portsmouth hotels on a busy summer weekend and was a very good deal for the pr - Check in at 1:00 pm was fast, smooth and the Man at the counter was very nice. Our room was great until I noticed the smoke alarm was hanging and water was leaking from it. Then the alarm went off when we had to go get a few things. They put us in another room very quickly.
