  Hotel room and public areas were very clean. Our room had newer carpet and new shower/tub, very good rainhead shower. Towels, sheets and shower curtain clean. Plenty of parking and small pool in back. Staff were courteous and check in quick. Room had good ac. Beds comfortable and hotel very quiet at night for a good sleep. Price was much lower than other Portsmouth hotels on a busy summer weekend and was a very good deal for the pr - Check in at 1:00 pm was fast, smooth and the Man at the counter was very nice. Our room was great until I noticed the smoke alarm was hanging and water was leaking from it. Then the alarm went off when we had to go get a few things. They put us in another room very quickly. (also please read negative feed back)

  The friendliness and accomodating staff, the complimentary nacho night, the kids loved it! And the complimentary breakfast. I had my four young granddaughters with me and if saved me alot of money not to have to take them into restaurants and waste food. And the pool/gym side by side! - The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Portsmouth. You can walk to most downtown restaurants and shopping. It is new and very clean. i stayed in a suite and was very surprised to find it has a kitchen complete with full refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop. It was perfect for hosting a group of friends for cocktails and appetizers.

  Great hotel in the middle of town. If you are looking to park your car for your stay and walk around a wonderful town, this is it. We had a great time.   This hotel was in walking distance to many shops and dining places. The hotel was very elegant and the staff was friendly. The king bed was so comfortable and room was very nice. - Location is ideal. Walkable to everything. Our (club) room was large, clean, & very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

  There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about The Anchorage Inn and Suites.From comfortable and impeccably clean rooms to the beautiful indoor pool and sauna to the amazing , friendly staff and the free continental breakfast ,I couldn't have been more pleased.   The staff was very friendly and they were very talkative. They were more than willing to print off directions to any place we wanted to go. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. Parking was free and ample spaces. - The hotel offered 2 queens and a sofa bed and the bedroom was separate from the sitting area.   The Port Inn was comfortable, with a friendly and helpful staff. It is slightly outside the busy, touristy downtown area and we felt this was a plus. The hotel was full, but it was very quiet. The room (we had one of the honeymoon suites) was nicely furnished, very clean with ample, thick towels and a comfortable bed (the pillows were a bit flat a... vad folk säger » nd needed to be replaced...a minor issue for us). We did not have the breakfast, but it looked tasty. We would definitely stay here again. - Very informed & friendly staff. Super clean & comfortable. Great amenities. Diverse offerings for the continental breakfast (fruit, yogurt, bagels & toast in addition to the normal offerings of muffins and doughnuts). Convenient location, just a few minute drive to downtown Portsmouth, about an hour to Boston. Great value for the price. This was our second visit and we'll be back.
