  Loved the beautiful white-flowering trees along the path - we thought they might be dogwoods but the staff did not know. There was a very comfortable sitting area/breakfast room to the side of the lobby where we waited until our room was ready. Room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Pleasant, helpful staff. - Absolutely no complaints. I was expecting it to be mediocre since we went for a more cost effective hotel, but we were surprised by how clean and nice the rooms were. The warm pool and spa were awesome too. We ordered a roll away bed for our daughter which they delivered immediately, so service was great. Even the free continental breakfast was pretty good. Highly recommended!

  It's hard to say what best describes this amazing historic property. It's maybe not a family place, nor is it really geard for business. For anyone traveling to Napa for a leisurely sojourn, this is the place.   The staff were very good indeed, friendly and helpful. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The location was excellent for access to Route 29 and touring the wine country and there was very little traffic noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we spoke to probably 5 different people during our 3 day stay. Location is quite convenient, and the breakfast was much nicer and had more choices than anything we've been to with a similar price.
