  We stayed in Burnham hotel from 5th to 8th of October, 2013. I enjoyed the whole experience of living here in the heart of Chicago Loop. The hotel has a perfect location close to malls (in front of Macy's), design shops (Nordstorm, DSW, Old Navy and etc.) and grocery stores (Target is the biggest one). It takes 40 minutes to get straight from the O'Hara airport to Wash - This is a great location for getting around Chicago downtown. Hotel has efficient and friendly staff; fantastic upper floors restored interior and history of the building is exceptionally interesting. Rooms are clean and comfortable with decent views if you are facing due east. Great bar and bistro on the ground floor. I will definitely visit again.

  I liked the fact that it's the oldest operating hotel in the country & there is lots of history there. The design is elaborate & like a palace.   When we parked I was a little concerned as it was our first time and up to this point the trip had been a horrible experience(our other hotel overbooked) just as we were arriving. I am glad they did. Once we got past the parking garage, the guy was cold and rude, and made our way to the lobby we were turned 180 degrees. There was a woman in the elevator who works for the hotel and was off duty, she even went out of her way to help - The staff was absolutely top-notch, especially the concierge, Rich. After an all-night Megabus trip, we stopped in to stow our luggage until the 3pm check in. They said our room was available immediately, if we would like an early check in (6 hours early at no additional charge). Unheard of! Amazing and gracious. This is my second stay at a Kimpton Hotel. I would be hard pressed to go anywhere else after this lovely experience.

  We loved the décor, the atmosphere; the staff members were all awesome! They gave quick easy-to-follow directions to all the places we needed to be. The room itself was very cozy & comfortable. Simply a great experience, Thanks Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park!!! - When we arrived, they told us our room had been overbooked. But they put us up across the street the first night for free and upgraded us to a suite the second night. Obviously not everyone can expect this to happen, but it's a testament to the hotel's willingness to take care of it's guests. Would definitely stay there again. Great location, too.

  I loved that the room was nicely sized for our family of 4. There was plenty of room for us to spread out in the room so we didn't feel like we were right on top of each other. The bathroom was huge, with his and hers sinks and a separate room for the shower, bath tub and toilet. We also enjoyed using the exercise room -- it was clean and had several diff - One of the most amazing hotels I've ever stayed at. Rooms are immaculate with jaw dropping views of the Chicago river and the intriguing Chicago skyline! Hotel staff were very friendly and well spoken. The food from the hotels' restaurant Hoytes was finger lickin good! The location is the best, easy walk to Mag mile, millennium park and even to the field museum and aquarium.
