Excellent location next to a great park and within 5 mins walk of Lake Michigan. Transport into city super easy from right outside the hotel or you can walk into the city within half hour.
Design of the hotel funky & individual - loved the staff 'uniforms' with the bow ties etc.

Great hotel in an awesome location. Excellent customer service from the staff. Roof top bar/restaurant has amazing views. The hotel has a very cool retro feel and the decor is great. The restaurant was good - pricey, but you can grab a bite at the bar. The bartendar provided excellent service.

Was comfortable and convenient. When I told them that I needed to keep my insulin cool they gave me a little refrigerator without charge. However, what kind of a hotel room does not already have a refrigerator? First experience of a hostel and it was excellent. Helpful staff, extrememly clean and well kept, fruit, cereal and bagels provided for breakfast with microwave and cooker should you wish to purchase anything for yourself, basic room but perfect as base for exploring Chicago. 5 to 10 mins walk to John Hancock Centre and oak street beach and explo

I liked the location in terms of being able to walk or easily take
public transportation to the heart of the city as well as the immediate
area, 6 bed dorm room and nice bathroom, helpful staff (gave out good
local map to all hostelers), general cleanliness, and
"complimentary breakfast all day", which included tea, coffee,
fruit, bagels and cream cheese as a plus.
