We loved everything. We have stayed at several large and boutique hotels on the Gold Coast and the Peninsula is probably the best across the board. I have a difficult last name, but all of the staff immediately remembered it and also pronounced it correctly. -

Good location and great view (you can actually see the lake) for $129 a single night made it a bang for buck. The rooms are on the top floor (40th) while the lover levels are offices of different banks. Just thinking about taking a shower above a corner room makes you smile:)

We liked the hotel. It was in a good location if you are visiting the city. The Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and had a problem with checkin. We enjoyed our stay at the Chicago Renaissance Hotel a great deal. The staff were congenial and respectful, appearing very invested in meeting our needs. We loved the attention to details such as, the lovely aroma that enveloped us when we walked into the lobby. Our comfortable room on the 21st floor, gave us a view of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River, State Street and nearby skyscrapers. We would definitely stay there again.

The room was spacious. The staff graciously moved us to another floor when ours became noisy because of high schoolers that were there for some music competition. The breakfast bar was wonderful. Lots of good food, hot and cold and plenty of seating.We also liked seeing the skyline from out 12th floor window.

This is a good location. The red line subway is just next to the main
hotel entrance. The Magnificent Mile is a couple of blocks away. There
are many restaurants within walking distance. A one page list was
provided by the hotel. A business center is provided by the hotel where
you can check the internet and print off information without charge.

Our room was very spacious and quiet. They put us on the top floor, next to the stairwell so we didn't hear any street traffic. I loved how quiet the bathroom was. The lights didn't buzz and the toilet wasn't loud. I was very impressed by the staff at the front desk and would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat!

We originally only had this hotel booked for 1 night and then would move to another Hilton. We were able to our same room for the additional nights. The room was clean and comfortable and we had an awesome view. Noah one of the doormen was extremely helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for meals. All of the staff that I came across were polite and efficient.
