Really central. Literally minutes from everything you would want to see. Apartment was well furnished and very comfortable. We arrived way before normal check in time and our train wasn't until 2 the following day. The owner was quite happy to let us in early and stay until 2 the next way. Put it this way. Brilliant apartment in very good location right in the centre of York, but still nice and quiet.
Very comfortable and good value, we would recommend to Friends and Family and visit again ourselves.

Location wonderfully central, yet quiet and secluded. Well appointed and spacious accommodation, all as advertised.
Location of the flat was great.
The heating wasn't working. Despite being October it was an exceptionally warm day so it wasn't too inconvenient. I called the owner and he was there within 15 minutes which we really appreciated but he couldn't fix it and later in the evening and next morning it was a bit chilly. Just one of those things and it certainly didn't put us off. We would definitely go back.
Should be noted that the flat is mostly on the second floor with a further steep flight of stairs to the bathroom/WC.
