Agincourt is very comfortable, clean and well maintained and run. It is within walking distance of Warwick Castle, shopping, restaurants and of course pubs. The owners were extremely freindly, and their attention to details made Agincourt a very special place. Their breakfast was the best we had in the UK during our trip. We cannot say enough to recommend it. The morning breakfast was good, plentiful & offered many selections. The facilities were clean, & the location was within very close walking distance to Warwick Castle. There is also a beautiful park nearby. Also- take a drive into nearby Stratford-Upon-Avon... It's beautiful & definitely worth seeing!!.
alla recensioner » Just excellent. Walking distance to the castle, restaurants and any place you'd like to see in Warwick. Delicious breakfast, cosy, well decorated and clean rooms. The couple running the place is so nice, friendly, helpfull. Delicious breakfast. Would stay nowhere else again in Warwick. Loved the four poster bed,en-suite shower room,the view from the window was of the beautiful garden.We had lovely breakfasts,tea and coffee in our room and had a key so we could come and go when we liked.Also we were within walking distance of the centre. The room was clean and bed very comfortable, towels changed daily. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Good size lounge to sit in, plenty of parking space. Excellent generous breakfast, home made bread and jam, lot of choice, good atmosphere. A very warm welcome from the owners of the Agincort Lodge, who gave us a brief history of the castle and the area around the town centre.A lovely family room very comfy and excellent breakfast .Highly recommended. Mike & Marisa very friendly and helpful. Mike provided coffee & biscuits on our arrival and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. Location ideal for Warwick centre & castle and pubs/restaurants. The people who run this place are absolutely brilliant they made are stay a pleasure with some very friendly extras for my girlfriends birthday which really made a difference highly recommend staying here. Very pretty garden and interior of the B&B and rooms was really charming. Breakfast was excellent! Hosts were very friendly and helpful with the area. Close to town centre and train station. Mike and Marissa were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The house is lovely. Full of charm, and the location can't be beat, within easy walk of the Castle and Smith St. The overall cleanliness of the hotel and the superb breakfast choices We also liked the friendliness of Marisa and her husband who made us feel very welcome. The only minus was being in a room at the top of the house, the weather was extremely cold, it wasn't comfortable to sit up there or sit up to read in bed. The room was a little dark. There was nothing we didnt like. We had room 2 overlooking front. Spacious, everything worked, but the four poster bed was a little hard for us. Bed could have been a bit more comfortable, but can't complain at this price. Nothing. The room we occupied didn't have en-suite although we did have sole use of bathroom across the hall. Nothing, liked everything. Nothing - all good. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Nothing. Nothing. the narrow stairs. Squeaky bed. Bathroom a bit small. The classic bed was almost falling apart. Nothing. needs a little tlc. eg squeaky bed, door to bathroom noisy as out of alignment. although four poster bed was lovely, it really creaked when you moved around in bed. Didn't bother us but may be an issue for other guests. Sorry to have to say but the shower room did have a very pungent aroma about it. Attitude of staff. Place looked very old fashioned and a bit tired. Note to owners - if you want people to arrive early please state this on the web sites. Very, very strict with breakfast times. A young woman was shouted at in front of us because she overslept and was late. I don't like having to choose the night before what I want for breakfast the next day. It was easier to just not have breakfast which made the whole stay expensive for just a room.
