  Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious. I have travelled widely in the UK and if every BandB I stayed in was a good as this I would be a very h... vad folk säger » appy woman.   Ferndale is family run and every effort is put into making the guests feel at home. The little touches in the rooms all count, lots of toiletries, china cups, covered drinking glass, plenty of beverages and tidy well equipped rooms cleaned every day by very efficient staff, free Wi-Fi and free view TV with modern plasma TV.   Very friendly welcome to both our parties booked . Nothing was too much trouble.Hotel clean all round . Great location . . Enjoyed stay and would book there again . - Linda and Barrie very friendly and remembered names and even likes and dislikes at breakfast which makes you feel valued as a guest

  on my way to the B&B in the taxi while approaching the area i did found it very hilly and upmarket.when arrive at the place it sel it was more that upmarket , the manager Roy & Julia was, soooo, friendly which me feel very relax and comfortable, However as i was going back to see my aunty i asked the taxi to wait for me on getting back in... vad folk säger » the taxi i was asked by the driver how did you frien the owner/manager, i said they were very very friendly and of course make me feel at home , the - The view! Even more so, the pool with a view! It's close to the coastal path for walks and set in a very peaceful residential area high up on the hill as is implied in the name.Charming and friendly service with the willingness to cater for individual dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble. Well cooked breakfast and, thank goodness, a proper sized bath towel.
