  A very nice hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.   I booked a one week stay, B&B in a single room hoping for a relaxing holiday after a busy few months at work. On arrival check in was easy and very friendly. Then came the part I had dreaded. (As a single traveller, on occasions rooms elsewhere have been little more than a broom cupboard with a view of the bins...!).   There were excellent facilities at the hotel (swimming pool, games area etc) and plenty to keep our children occupied. The rooms were very clean and well serviced and the hotel is in a great location, near to Torquay town and beach, but in a quiet area. - The friendliness of all the staff was consistent.   I liked the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. My wife was also impressed with the spa treatments. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that we could book an apartment at the hotel, so we could prepare our own meals.   Really enjoyed our stay there - staff were extremely helpful and well mannered. The service at the dinner table was very attentive without being intrusive.   Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious.
