  Location. Friendliness of owners. Cleanliness and appearance is excellent and appealing. House and room decor is brilliant. Room facilities, excellent. Just loved our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. First time in Carlisle, and we have no reason to stay anywhere else if visiting again. Excellent for business trips. - Can't speak highly enough about my brief stay at East View Guest House. Beautiful double aspect room, spotlessly clean with brand new en suite, plus a nice firm bed. I was in Carlisle for a running event which started at 7am, when I told the owner I was leaving at 5.30am she brought me a breakfast tray complete with flask of milk,croissant, banana, cereal and juice. Sorry I didn't find out her name. I rate this B&B as excellent
