We reached very late so he passed us beforehand the door-code to get-in, told us exacly where we could park and left the guest parking ticket with date entered for each zone we could park.   Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to town, within walking distance. Accommodation warm, comfortable and all facilities one would expect. Food not exceptional but tasty and well cooked.   I thought everything about the hotel was good. It was quiet and the room was spacious clean and had all the facilities required for a pleasant stay. Breakfast similarly provided all that was required to start a day. A good choice of cereal, cooked food or cold food if preferred with a range of drinks to suit all. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and always on hand to provide guidance and advice. - Really enjoyed stay as base for visiting family in Cumbria. We were able to bring our two dogs rather than leave at home for small price per night. This was fabulous for us and a surprise as not realised when booked. Also free car park a real bonus for location and so convienient. Great shower in bathroom and as good as you get anywhere. All in all enjoyed 3 night stay with location short distance to walk to castle and park for dogs.Would recommend for budget conscious comfortable accommodation

I had a child asleep on my shoulder and a 5 year old on my own and was asked if I would like some help with my bags- it was great not to have to ask for help!   Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Had a great night sleep in comfortable room. Breakfast very good. Token given for parking which allowed us to park beside Guest House.   As always a really good night's stay at a Premier Inn. You can always be assured what you get will be clean, reliable, and friendly for a great price. In this case, the front desk staff member went above and beyond in helping us get our laundry washed and dried, which was a real help a week into our vacation. - Large room, clean.
