  Attentive staff, made to feel welcome, responded positively to all requests, friendly atmosphere in restuarant, excellent food, very well prepared with local fine ingredients. Room exceptionally clean and well equipped, 4 poster room delightful. The Auberge is easy to find but its location as a stand alone facility adds to the sense of occassion. ... vad folk säger » There is a quaint thatched roof pub (the four horseshoes) about a mile or so away, well worth the visit. Overall the Auberge restaurant and accommodat - We were welcomed and shown to our room immediately. It was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with large shower. We ate dinner there. The menu had a good number of mains choices. We chose the guinea fowl breast which we found rather overcooked. However the starter and home made bread made up for this. The house red was mellow and not expensive. The breakfast was generous and enjoyable. The staff were polite and friendly.

  When we arrived at the hotel we were greated at reception by happy friendly staff. The quality and presentation of the hotel was outstanding. My husband and I only stayed for one night but it was a very pleaurable stay in a beautiful clean and spacious room. Breakfast was very nice and certainly set us up for a good start to the day. We felt special from the minute we walked through the doors! Everywhere was clean and tidy. All the staff were impeccably turned out, polite and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely and powerful. The bed was massive!!! The bedding was clean and fresh.
