We were impressed by our first view of this hotel. Much better than expected as was Lowestoft itself. Car park just over the road from the hotel entrance. Easily accessed lift just by reception and very few steps for disabled persons like myself.

Brilliant Hotel, staff very polite, nothing was to much trouble, The Sunday Buffet was excellent and so was the breakfast the next morning, Room large & comfortable and warm, the bathroom was large and the shower was nice & hot and easy to work. the number of T.V. programs were excellent. the view from the enlarged bar/decking area was good, very very happy with our stay would recommend.

Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite.
The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.
Breakfast was excellent & service quick and friendly, a good choice of hot & cold.

The hotel is only 20min drive from Cambridge, and although we worried about the car park, it is right in front of the hotel and very easy to access. Frendly efficient staff and everything is very clean. It's not the least stuffy and you feel at ease there. An encouraging price structure sympathetic to what for many people are hard pressed times. An alternative for me would have been to have made two 200mile car journeys in one day rather than one -
