The welcome when we arrived. The King room with en-suite wet room, which intrigued me when I saw it in the website and was not disappointed when actually saw it. Comfortable bed, quiet surroundings. Excellent breakfast using fresh produce. Would go again. -

I liked being welcomed in a most family-like manner by the host, Michael. The home was inviting, comfortable, and an extremely good price for such luxury. One has their own key to come and go in this B&B and the suggestions from Michael were very helpful and needed by a solo traveler, new to Dover and I felt completely at home. -

weekend trip to Dover to visit castle and cliffs. Gary was very
welcoming, and offered advice on where to eat locally and where best
to visit cliffs and was a perfect host. Superb choice for breakfast
and lovely clean and tidy guest house. Would not even consider
looking elsewhere for overnight stay when passing through Dover in

Arrived early and rang to see if we could check in early - no worries! Sharon was very accommodating with requests (stored our luggage after check out so we could have a look around before leaving) and called us a cab when we left. She was informative, talkative and bright and the breakfast provided was one of the best we have had in our travels.

We loved the room! It was very nicely decorated and the bathroom shower worked well. It was clean and met our needs for the night that we were there. The internet was good. The best was the wonderful English Breakfast! We would highly recommend this property and we would stay there again if we were ever lucky enough to go back to Dover!

Whole place was immaculately clean land clean and two minutes walk to a beach.. Very quiet location.

They create a wonderful environment at this hotel. Lots of little extras that are wonderful and make you feel at home. We were there in the off season and there were hot water bottles in the bed at night, both practical and cosy. An honor bar, records to play and just a lovely environment. The owner was always on hand but never intrusive. The whole experience could be decsribed as staying in a private home. We loved the log burning fires, LPs and record player, cheese , biscuits and other treats laid out in the evening for guests consumption. The breakfasts are pretty good too. We plan to return.
