In spite of arriving very late at night and having to leave early on the day I left, I was still treated with great courtesy and pleasantness and nothing was too much trouble. - friendly service, made to feel welcome, comfortable and freshly decorated room, double bed and spacious room for solo traveller.

owners and comfortable facilities at Westbury Lodge.We had a lovely ground floor en suite twin bedded room, which I found convenient, as I am not as mobile as I used to be. The Lodge is diabetic friendly with suitable breakfast food and help with storing insulin or ice packs.

A most comfortable guest house and spotlessly clean. We were warmly welcomed and immediately given a cup of tea on arrival. The superior double room was beautifully furnished with a spacious bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities, even wineglasses and a corkscrew were provided. The cooked breakfast was fabulous every morning, and there was a wide range of cereals and fruit available too. Probably the best B&B I have stayed in within the UK (and I have been to a lot). Very friendly owners and lovely clean room! We stayed in the Captain's Room which was nicely decorated with very large bathroom. The room had an ironing board, hair dryer, coffee and tea maker, and pretty much any toiletries one could need. The hotel was in a great location for Shanklin, it was clean very
comfortable and had a fantastic breakfast collection. James and Paula
were very helpful as well as organising our ferry travel they also had a
handy pack in the room with local walks and island attractions, they
also requested guests to review where they had eaten, this certainly
helped with our decisions. Overall a fantastic place and would stay
again if ever on the island.

I cannot praise the Fernbank enough. The owner could not have been more helpful or hospitable. The hotel is beautifully decorated cared for. The public areas were very relaxing to sit in. The room I stayed in was spotless and very comfortable.

The staff were excellent and made you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. The Hotel was furnished well and very comfortable, lovely gardens to relax in if the weather was good and a very nice heated indoor pool. Breakfast was excellent with a big choice and plenty of it. The Fernbank delivers a high quality of service and comfort and we would certainly go back.

Enchanted Manor was everything and more than we could have wished for.Superb Suite, which I am sure they all are ,every comfort thoughtfully catered for.and very clean..beautiful sea views..wonderful breakfast and above all ..the most lovely hosts, who made you really feel at home. Guy and Claire are a very friendly couple who will do what they can to make your stay an enjoyable one however long it is for. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed we had was a queen size and was very comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee to be had in the room. Andrea & Mark were very friendly and accomadating.The breakfast was cooked fresh to order, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon for me, my friend had a big bowl of fab porrigde with seeds and cranberries. Loved everything about it. Best ever breakfasts, with all you could ask for. The rooms were stylishly decorated and very comfortable and pleasantly warm when it was cold outside. The hotel is well situated for the beach, transport links and the lovely old village.
Gillian and Andy, the proprietors, were very helpful in suggesting the nicest places to visit and how best to get there.
All in all a great hotel.

On your step inside the first thing you experience is a wide smiley
face, that makes a lot of comfort and happiness to anyone going to stay
at Havelock. Ours was B&B and the food was really great with a very
helpful and friendly staff. Very clean, nice and tidy rooms. I would
definitely go again to stay if I am back to Isle of Wight.
