  was only in the isle of man working unfortunately but this hotel was exceptional, the staff faultless, hotel was very clean in a good location right on sea front and the breakfast was amazing the menu was extensive and you could have anything i had full manx and it was cooked to perfection. hopefully i will get back to Douglas for a break and wil... vad folk säger » l definitely be staying at this hotel.Even the parking wasn't an issue as you can park outside overnight and all day in the car park 100 yds away for - This place was amazing! The room was beautiful and had an awesome view!!!! They even give you chocolates and have a nice sitting room where you can mingle with the other guest. You can see the horse trollies right out front and there is a stop to get on it right there also. Had an amazing breakfast! They also held our luggage after we checked out, since our flight wasn't till late in the day we wanted to explore but didn't know what to do with the luggage. Next time we come we will definitely s

  the friendliness of the director...simply great. The hotel is very clean, central, beautiful Victorian style and amazing views. - The privacy and how friendly the management and staff were on contact. THe rooms were wonderful and the facilities great.

  The location of the Hotel was excellent. The bedroom and bathroom were ample-sized for two people and very clean. Towels were changed as and when requested. The breakfast choice was superb, cooked to order and hot. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived late morning, check in normally 2pm, and as we had advi - Great location (within walking distance of Douglas and all its attractions). Very clean and comfortable room (albeit quite basic) with kingsize bed - unusual for a Guest House (where one would expect a double bed only). Extraordinarily friendly and extremely helpful team of staff (we left early and in place of breakfast they made us lovely sandwiches to eat at a more 'sensible' hour).   Friendly, helpful staff and excellent value for money. The Hotel was very comfortable, within easy walking distance from the ferry port and shops. - The staff were some of the friendliest I have met in my many years of travelling and were always willing to go that extra mile.

  All reviews mention the famous carpet on the stairs, but my room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the meals in the bar were fine, and the location is excellent, opposite the castle, next to a bus stop and convenience store, and an easy walk to the railway station. - A very warm welcome by the staff.   The Executive double room was large and comfortable. I usually stay in an Atrium room at this hotel but that option wasn't available via letsbookhotel.com - but I was happy with the allocated room. Sometimes Atrium rooms are a bit noisy (it's an open plan arrangement so if someone else has their balcony door open and the tv playing loudly, the noi... vad folk säger » se spreads around) but that was not a problem in this room. - Food was excellent including the 2 restaurants attached to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very helpful which gives the whole place a happy atmosphere. Lovely touch also of being able to have fresh milk for your tea and coffee in the room and bottled water too.

  Great that they do single occupancy discounts in double rooms (being able to search for hotels who do would be something your site could add!) The superior room I had (404) was spacious and interesting (unlike the standard fare of most hotel rooms) - My wife enjoyed our stay so much that we have now recommended to family and friends.

  Very friendly staff. Great apartment so near to the beach. Two apartments are dog friendly. 2 minutes walk to main supermarket and a mount walk to co-op newsagent, fish & chips, Chinese take away. Great venue for a family trip. - Location, welcome milk supplied plus tea & coffee.
