Excellent B&B in a large house in a line of upscale suburban homes on the road North out of Douglas. Overlooking the sea and Tram lines; quiet area. Margaret was very welcoming and friendly. We were upgraded to a large room with a massive bed, a large bathroom with luxury bath and shower. There was a walk in wardrobe and a TV which came out of a cupboard and could be turned to face the bed or the sofa. Everything was provided including free bottled water in the fridge, a vast array of coffee for the coffee maker, home baked cakes in the huge communal sitting room and even toothbrushes and toothpaste.

I spent a considerable period of time researching accommodation options for my 4 night business trip to Douglas. This absolutley fitted the bill. Excellent location (shops/business hub), easy access (arrival arrangements - arrived 2230hours - were superb) and the apartment met every requirement. Outstanding facilities and so very comfortable.

Great location (within walking distance of Douglas and all its attractions). Very clean and comfortable room (albeit quite basic) with kingsize bed - unusual for a Guest House (where one would expect a double bed only). Extraordinarily friendly and extremely helpful team of staff (we left early and in place of breakfast they made us lovely sandwiches to eat at a more 'sensible' hour). Like most hotels in Douglas it is now an old building, but everywhere inside the hotel was nice and clean and the staff where very helpfull. I was in a single room, but not too small and the shower was fine. The buffett breakfast, eat all you like, was good all three days I stayed, cerial, juice, bacon, sausage, eggs etc

Cindy the owner / operator is a fantastic hostess. She'll tell you herself that the hotel is "not the Ritz, it's a budget hotel" and "no frills but plenty of fuss" but she's lovely, ensures that all guests are very well looked after and made to feel at home and part of the family.

this B&B is on the sea front at the shops end of Douglas prom. The rooms are spacious and clean and most have en-suite but I would ask to make sure. Cindy, the owner is on call 24/7 and goes out of her way to make sure you are happy. Breakfast at just £5.00 is superb and you can eat as much as you want.
