  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.   It's a cross between a hotel and and apartment which allows you to be very flexible with regard to cooking your own meals, getting a takeaway (which can be delivered according to the literature in my room) or going out to one of the many eateries at the Westfield Centre which is where the hotel is located.   Employees were so friendly, I loved how friendly and hospitable they were. Location is much better than expected its right next to oxford street and shopping is perfect for that! There's a Sainsbury next to it as well as a phone shop which is perfect for a tourist. Doormen are super nice, and very helpful. I love this hotel and look - The young well trained staff are excellent. The Hotel entrance is amazing, very polite doormen opening doors into the fabulous foyer, probably one of the best entrances in London. The place was very busy with a young clientele. Our room 210 was a good size but did not feel it was the 28mts as was advertised. A large TV with over 100 channels. Good bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Good selection of drinks and a whole drawer of nibbles. Highly recommended.

The room service breakfast is very good, the "Montcalm breakfast" easily serves two and is then quite a good deal. Very good attention to detail to the smaller things. Outstanding cleanliness. Incredibly polite staff. The decor was superb, which coupled with the above gives weight to the 5 star rating

  We stayed in an executive studio and couldn't be more satisfied! The staff were really nice and friendly, the studio was spacious, clean and had everything you could possibly ask for. And the location makes it even better - 3 minutes walk to both buses and underground (Notting Hill Gate) which takes you to Oxford street in 10 minutes. Very friendly staff, especially dear Manu Mohan :) hotel is only 200 steps away from Notting Hill gate tube station. Very close to Tesco, Boots and some more cafes. Since the rooms have own kitchen, we cooked everything at home. I must say, all the staff in kitchen were so clean and new.. Congratulations to this hotel for being so good. I will never ever
