  recently opened this hotel has been created using the very best quality fittings and overall is very comfortable and stylish - combination of old world charm with the castle and modern facilities - the bedrooms are very spacious and very well equipped - the bathrooms could have been made bigger but they are well equipped - excellent shower and ma... vad folk säger » ssive towels and the bedroom have some very nice touches - coffee machine etc the view over the loch is beautiful and the grounds are very well kept. - All the staff were amazing, especially Michelle the receptionist and Ed the dining room supervisor. Every aspect was first class. We had our very friendly dog with us as we do on all our trips but from his point of view this was absolutely the best ever place for him to stay - really pet friendly. We loved it so much that we are about to book our next visit today, 2 days after returning home. Please, please go to the Fonab for an unforgettable experience. P.S. the food is exceptional.

  The situation, and the view over Loch Faskally in autumn, is quite stunning. There were so many positives about our stay. The room was pristine, well proportioned, and warm, as was the entire hotel. The room was also very well equipped. A great deal of attention is given to virtually every aspect of comfort. Quality towels - Everything about the hotel was first class. Staff very friendly and helpful, the service at all meals was very efficient and nothing was too much bother - even to making my husband a cooked breakfast earlier than breakfast was normally served. The food was excellent. The atmosphere at the hotel was calm and relaxing and the public areas had plenty of comfortable seating where you could just sit and absorb the beautiful scenery.   Perfect place for a family vacation. Lots of space for kids to run around and no need to worry about them making noise since there's no one nearby to bother. A nice walk down the 18th fairway to reach the clubhouse for decent food. The town of Pitlochry is quite lovely with a surprising number of things to do.
