  When I realized that London hotel rooms are very, very small, I found the 9 Hertford Street apartment hotel. It's location is excellent: just off Piccadilly st., very close to Green Park underground station that brings you anywhere (including to and from Heathrow airport with the Piccadilly line) , a 25 minutes walk to Oxford st.   We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch.   Wonderful experience. The view is breathtaking. The staff, Adam, was such a gentleman, he came Sunday 9pm to show us the apartment. Really felt like home. Plenty of TV channels.   We stayed at the apartment to celebrate a birthday in London. We found the facilities to be of a high standard, the apartment was only 2 months old and very clean. The furnishings were new and very comfortable. It offers everything a family needs for a pleasurable stay in London. There is also free wifi in the apartments. I was bringing my children to see Pink at the O2 combining it with some sightseeing. My mum and a friend also came and spent the evening in the apartment and cooked a meal whilst we were at the concert. I chose the Apple apartments because of the location being in between the O2 and the city and I couldn't have made a better choice.
