  When I realized that London hotel rooms are very, very small, I found the 9 Hertford Street apartment hotel. It's location is excellent: just off Piccadilly st., very close to Green Park underground station that brings you anywhere (including to and from Heathrow airport with the Piccadilly line) , a 25 minutes walk to Oxford st.   We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch. It was well maintained and very clean.The beds were wonderfully comfortable with big feather pillows.The room had plenty of plugs,fluffy white towel dressing gowns,ironing board etc. everything we needed without having to ask. The full English breakfast was big enough to share between two. A lovely place to relax in great comfort.

  Wonderful experience. The view is breathtaking. The staff, Adam, was such a gentleman, he came Sunday 9pm to show us the apartment. Really felt like home. Plenty of TV channels. Plenty of restaurants around. Comfortable beds. The park just moments away with a fantastic playground for children. The concierge was great. - The location was excellent with a balcony directly overlooking the Thames with views of the London Eye, Shard and the Gherkin.   We stayed at the apartment to celebrate a birthday in London. We found the facilities to be of a high standard, the apartment was only 2 months old and very clean. The furnishings were new and very comfortable. It offers everything a family needs for a pleasurable stay in London. There is also free wifi in the apartments.
