  When I realized that London hotel rooms are very, very small, I found the 9 Hertford Street apartment hotel. It's location is excellent: just off Piccadilly st., very close to Green Park underground station that brings you anywhere (including to and from Heathrow airport with the Piccadilly line) , a 25 minutes walk to Oxford st. The apartement was very bright, as there were 'roof to floor' windows, with sliding doors in both bedrooms and livingroom. Free wifi was perfect. We liked the space (similar to home) the ability to make meals & snacks and of course a cup of tea. The vancinity was very good. The location allowed us to travel around relatively easily.   Wonderful experience. The view is breathtaking. The staff, Adam, was such a gentleman, he came Sunday 9pm to show us the apartment. Really felt like home. Plenty of TV channels. Plenty of restaurants around. Comfortable beds. The park just moments away with a fantastic playground for children. The concierge was great. - The location was excellent with a balcony directly overlooking the Thames with views of the London Eye, Shard and the Gherkin. The available parking space was a definite bonus bearing in mind the location. Extremely secure with automated gates at every entry point. No problem with obtaining both a travel cot and a high chair upon arrival

  We stayed at the apartment to celebrate a birthday in London. We found the facilities to be of a high standard, the apartment was only 2 months old and very clean. The furnishings were new and very comfortable. It offers everything a family needs for a pleasurable stay in London. There is also free wifi in the apartments. I chose the Apple apartments because of the location being in between the O2 and the city and I couldn't have made a better choice. We were given a late check out and when my son left a valuable item in the apartment, a member if staff went and got it and secured it until it was collected.
