  Great location for sight-seeing, welcoming comfortable attractive Hotel, family-friendly, my 7 year old says 'it's really tidy and nice'. V good cocktail bar and restaurant at Hotel, 'Caxton Grill'. We ate there with 2 children. Accommodating, great food but expensive. I realised I had left a little purse with some tablets in it, whilst I was on the train. I called the hotel and housekeeping went and found it for me and today it arrived in the post!   Fantastic location in Shepherd's market. Near everything but very quiet. Spacious quarters with two separate rooms, a full kitchen, and separate beds for all three of us. - Great location - local restaurants and pubs and walking distance to attractions. Arrived early - staff made us feel welcome and facilitated early check-in.

  The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful on our arrival and allowed us to check in 3 hours early and parked the car for us. We had just arrived from a business night in the Intercontinental Park Lane and taking away the fancy veneer in the room the City Inn was every bit as good (if not better). - Liked the fact that all the little extras ... vad folk säger » were in the room and included in price (apart from prices for the mini bar) ie: free internet access, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, bath robes, mini bar, basket of goodies. There is also a fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant on site and amazing views. - City inn was absolutely brilliant. Clean and spacious,the room even had a Thames view. There was a computer in the room and broadband was free. I wish I had known about the complimentary tea/coffee/cakes which were out of view in a cupbord in the room and I only found out later when booking out.

  The staff were brilliant and really put themselves out for us. They upgraded us to a massive double suite with champagne and chocolates. It was our 25th Anniversary and they put themselves out..even putting rose petals on the bed at night while we were out. They could not have done a better job...thank you Ritz. Excellent staff with personable, friendly, helpful and courteous manner. Nothing snooty or subservient or obsequious either. Breakfast was fantastic. Smooth, easy process for us. The complimentary champagne on our first night was unexpected and greatly appreciated. We were on our honeymoon and "splashing out" as a one off but the one off will be our first choice anytime we are in London.
