The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. Soft leather chairs and twinkly lights. The room was excellent with quality fittings and nights sleep. No noise at all through to the room and it was Christmas party time.
Continental breakfast was really wholesome so much so that my husband didn't miss his usual cooked breakfast.

The hotel is an excellent example of how to restore an old building (with history) into a very comfortable & friendly place to stay. We found the staff to be very helpful & welcoming. The dinning experience in the restaurant could not be faulted.
I liked the idea of the room names (but would have liked the names to have some relation to the buildings history).

reception open 24/7 gave me complete flexibility in my arrival/departure times. Lucien on reception was very helpful and friendly. the room and its en suite shower and toilet were spotless. the bed was comfortable the room was a nice warm temperature. - friendly staffs,warmly bedroom and my friends and i all love this city~people are all very nice

This was without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable UK stays I have ever had. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Läget till både Old Town och Princess street. - Staff very helpful, we left our bags in hotel until check-in and were able to have late check out for only £20 extra. Breakfast on go great idea and great value for money. Will definately be back as perfect for train station and shopping.

Vi anlände sent och blev uppgraderade på grund av att de vanliga dubbelrummen för icke rökare var slut. Detta blev ett lyckokast - men vad hade hänt om de inte hade kunnat uppgradera? - Bra läge centralt. Vänlig och tillmötesgående personal. Hade turen att kunna boka till ett gynnsamt pris. Ordinarie pris hade varit för dyrt!

Central hotel, very comtemporary and the room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant staff were particularly professional and helpful. The bar food was good also.
