We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Our double room (with en suite bathroom) was comfortable and very clean. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location (yet only ten minutes drive from Falmouth town centre) with sublime sea/country views. It has a refined and tranquil atmosphere without feeling at all "stuffy". We didn't have an evening meal in the restaurant but did have breakfast, which couldn't be faulted. Would highly recommend and will be returning in the future. Many thanks.
alla recensioner » We were upgraded to a family room and this had a lovely sea view. Great to have a little minibar fridge in the room - ideal if you want to keep milk cool if you want to make up a flask for the day. The homemade orange marmarlade was to die for. I don't even like marmarlade - the owner should sell it in jars! (Can I have the recipe?). Free range chickens outside - wonderful eggs for breakfast. The hotel was lovely, we were able to check in earlier than the website stated. The room was excellent, particually enjoyed the food which was of excellent quality with plenty of choice. The lounge bar and dining room offered a comfortable and satisfying environment. Situated in a quiet area with sea views enjoying breakfast was delightful. We will be re-booking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is comfortable with relaxed lounge etc and a lawned garden with pleasant views. Excellent breakfasts and very well prated evening meals. Lovely views, staff extremely friendly, nothing was 2 much trouble. Meals very enjoyable. We extended our stay here, if in this area again would stay here. Beautiful view overlooking the sea. The breakfast was very good especially the home made marmalade and the mixed berries. Location, views, decor. On one occasion it took a little while to get someone's attention at reception. We rang the bell a few times. I suspect staff were busy making up the rooms and couldn't hear the bell. Someone did eventually come. Not too much of a problem, it wouldn't stop us staying again. Although the website states wi-fi available, it was not available in our room, perhaps because we were furthest away from the booster? However it did not spoil our stay in any way. More garden furniture would have been good. Slightly longer bar hours. Unfortunately on our stay no beer on tap. The lounge/bar area was a bit dated and quiet - could have done with some background music. It was certainly adequate. Absolutely nothing. Not in the control of the hotel, but the weather could have been better! Otherwise nothing to criticise at all. Nothing. Nothing. There was nothing. Wi-Fi not avialable in all the bedrooms. nothing to dislike. Unfortunately the night we stayed there were very high winds which rattled all the loose items on the roof and kept waking us up. mirror in hall. Bar and meal times, missed breakfast as it didn't start till 8. But I understand as it is a holiday hotel not business. Dinner quite expensive, vegetables boring carrots every evening. Thin walls, poor sound proofing.
