The welcome at reception unlike some four star hotels I have stayed in! This is nice to find when you are a mature lady travelling on your own to be made to feel welcome from the start. Also the fact that they did not realize I would be on my own and offered to change my ground floor room to an upstairs one if I wished to do so. The staff were very welcoming, and most kindly granted our request for a larger bed! The room was excellent and the bathroom facilities were immaculate. The breakfast was also of the same high standard. We will certainly stay at Christchurch East again.
alla recensioner » Could not fault anything about our stay. Ate at the onsite beefeater for evening meal and for breakfast and the food was lovely, i would recommend breakfast! Our room was very clean, staff friendly and would definitely stay there again. It was very late when we arrived. The staff were extremely helpful. Clean room, comfy bed that's all we needed after a very tiring day. The breakfast was lush. I was more than happy with the room and service. The room was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good too. Friendly staff. Good food. Comfy room. Best bit was not having to leave until midday! After a late night it was good to be able to lie in. The room had everything we needed for a family of 4. Good black out curtains Bathroom was clean Kids eating free for breakfast was great. We thought Christchurch was a delightful place to visit. It really has something for everyone. Also an excellent bus service. Staff where helpful the hotel was clean our room was basic but comfy the food was good breakfasts was good value. Great service and very polite staff. Money back guarantee if you do not have a good night with no hassle. It was a very relaxing time i was on a visit to see family and i enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn. Friendly staff. Nothing. Was a bit cold should but the heating on in rooms when they know people are staying on cold days. Adjoining Beefeater a bit expensive for a budget eatery. Noisy doors if people do not heed clearly displayed signs in hotel. Room was hot when window closed at night (children did not want it open due to road noise. Nothing. found a empty medicinal tablet container on the bed side cabinet. Room was exceptionally hot. A fan was provided but this did little to help. Bed in the disabled room was a little too low. Didn't like the fact that we were put in a room that was right at the back of the hotel, a long walk down numerous corridors and through several doors with suitcases And a six year old not ideal. Roon very hot abd couldn't turn thermostat down. Rooms were very warm no a/c only fans in room needed on all night meant sleep was difficult inwarm weather. Nothing. The bed was small 4ft 6ins. We were expecting what you describe as 'big comfy beds'. Are all the beds the same,if so they should not be described as 'big'. I would call big at least 5 ft. The location was not great,we thought we were nearer Christchurch than we actually were. Not water for sink but luke warm for bath. Felt pricing a bit high and certainly not the 'cheap' rates shown on TV. Can't find any fault. Nothing!. Nothing, everything spot on!. No room phone to cOntact reception in an emergency. Problem with maintenance reported twice the bathroom fan wasn't working, nothing done about it not impressed. After a lovely family meal in the Beefeater we had to leave as the bar closed at 11 pm, as we were staying we thought like most hotels we could have used the facilities until a bit later especially as drinks were still being served to a few people at the bar. room smelt a bit musty. A bit far from the centre. Tiny bathroom, excentric heating. all ok. nothing. nothing. My friend had a heart condition and although I had phoned prior to visit we were put in a room too far from reception although they did move us. But..Beefeaters too many steps for my friend. Breakfast poor,waited ages for some bacon,in the end gave up as rest of our breakfast was getting cold!!!!. Our stay was during a very hot spell in July. The hotel had no air conditioning and throughout the night was unbearably hot. It was uncomfortable as the window was restricted to open only a very small gap and the small fan provided was simply pushing hot air around the room, consequently the whole family were unable to sleep much through the night. As a couple in our 70`s we found the room cold and even though we adjusted the heating control the room soon cooled down again.Also as a diabetic I was able to recognise a used blood testing strip on the floor. At best unhygienic and at worst possible infection. The carpet needed a clean/refresh as it smelled like lots of smelly feet had been walking on it. The mattress had seen better days, was sunken in the middle. The room was very small for 4 people and it was extremely warm in the room. The bed was too soft and springy, resulting in a terrible sleep. The remote for the tv did not work. no breakfast food available. room extremely cold for first 12-14 hours despite putting heater on full. poor lighting by cooker and sink area at night.
