  We missed the breakfast and the staff was kind enough to prepare our breakfast almost at lunch time. The wedding we came to attend was at 1300 and the check in time at 1400, but the hotel staff was very nice and let us into the room earlier so we could dress for the wedding. The price was very reasonable and it was the only hotel in the area, which offer - Friendly atmosphere but staff did not intrude. The bar at the Hotel was popular with the locals who again were friendly but not intrusive. It was good to see a lively bar at this time with so many places closing. Close to various ancient monuments, white horses and Avebury. Good centre for walking and seeing the Wiltshire countryside. We went for the standard double which was fine for us.I think the more expensive rooms had spa baths but we preferred to save our money - it is good to have the

  Was made to feel 'at home'. As a lone female, I felt comfortable and not intimidated, as can happen in other hotels I have stayed at. Staff very warm and welcoming, beds very comfy and very quiet at night.   Jag tyckte att det var en intressant person som hade stället och vi fick bra kontakt. Vi fick låna hennes bok om vandringsleder och hon hade andra spännande böcker. Allt var rent och fräscht. - Felt a lot more "personal" than other B&B's we've stayed in due to the fact that it seemed more like an apartment rather than a hotel room. Excellent location and the actual setting for the property (at the entrance to a churchyard and graveyard) was very striking especially if the graveyard doesn't put you off (it didn't for us). Very clean and the owner was courteous and friendly. - My wife and I had the most relaxing time at the Masters Lodge,very friendly, nothing was to much trouble,excellent breakfast for us,the rooms were first class. We both enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
