We had a FANTASTIC time! The owner was so friendly and was easy to contact, the room was spacious and had everything we needed in it. It was my 19th Birthday and came with 3 friends so the big room that fits 4 was perfect for us! With big wardrobe space and the beds were great! The little highstreet was good for little bits and I generally would recommend to anyone, we didn't want to return home!.
alla recensioner » You get what you pay for at the boscombe reef Super friendly staff very helpful and willing to help. It's clean and breakfast was simple and easy to make. The bed my son and I slept in was comfortable and the rooms were warm. It's in a good location for the beach and resturants. Plenty of parking just down the road if you can't get a space outside. Boscombe Reef Hotel is in an excellent location for a trip to Bournemouth. The hotel is a perfect budget hotel - clean and comfortable, friendly staff, generous breakfast and hot drinks at any time! Ideal for groups - 6 of us shared 2 rooms with single beds. It was a lovely place and the owner Russel Bailey was so polite and friendly. It was nice to have a contenential breakfast where you could help yourself and having tea and coffee on tap was wonderful. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone. Pleasant room with a very nice comfy bed and good amenities. And the owner and staff were extremely helpful. The owner was very accommodating and flexible when i needed a slight change of check in. Will be staying again!. The Boscombe Reef Hotel was much nicer than the photo shown on your website. Location was perfect for o2 Academy approx ten minutes walk away Hotel was warm and inviting staff left you to it once u were shown 2 yr room. I liked the friendly relaxed atmosphere the hosts provided,n the small relaxing environment of the breakfast room which had the option of sitting on sofas watching tv or using the garden on a nice day. Very clean, well-kept. Modern decor. Useful lounge with free tea/coffee all day and TV. Sunny courtyard garden. Parking available. All you could expect from a budget hotel but with more style. This is 2nd time I've stayed here because of the location n the excellent staff-they go out if their way to accommodate ur every need-really feels like home when I visit :). Myself and three friends shared a room for one night and it was perfect for our requirements. very Freindly and welcome staff , lovley place to stay and will love to stay there again, but this time for longer than a long weekend. Not sure if there was anything to like about the place. It was close to the venue we were using. It was close to shops. Only thing we disliked was the 10am check out time as we were going to a Nite club in Boscombe which closes at 5am, flexible check out time would have been ideal. Only downfall was it was slightly further afield than advertised ! But it wasn't too bad,have rebooked again as it's closer to the nxt place we're going to !. Nothing really. Bedroom TV signal not great but not a big problem. Walls thin, so if you get inconsiderate neighbours it can be noisy, but not the hotel's fault. The only minor issue was the toilet in the room. There wasn't a proper door on it which meant you felt a bit conscious when using it!. shower rooms a little on the small side. Nothing was very happy. getting woke up. weather :). Felt that taking a booking for a couple over a weekend when they also had multiple bookings for a stag night was rather un fair. Being woken up and kept awake both Friday and Saturday nights was not part of our plans !!. The walls were too thin and could hear everything that was happening next door who were very loud. The shower was very basic with exposed piping and cobwebs :( We had a squeaky bed so everytime I moved I'm sure everyone could hear. It was very basic but then again so was the price. i just think the place could do with a little doing up and change of furniture. Would not be staying in a shared bathroom B&B again. Could have been cleaner. noisy. Very noisy other guests. Bed up against the wall, no door on the toilet,shower area. The en-suite was not an ensuite it was a shower cubicle in the room with transparent screen so everyone could see you bathe. The separate toilet had no running cold water and was extremely cramped. The window had no clasp or lock and it was therefore chilly and not particularly secure. There were no wardrobe facilities just three hooks and three hangers. The room was very small. No wardrobe to hang clothes only some hooks. Shower tray was black also black on the ceiling. There were no toiletries available, had to wait long time for warm water to shower, the room set up was different on the picture of booking than real! I didnt know one of us would be sleeping in a "shower room".
