This is my second time at this hotel and another excellent stay, short walk to all the amenities, returning to the quiet and pleasant surroundings of a guest house, which was very clean with many touches which made the stay more enjoyable, with an emphasis on luxury and style, the beds were amazing so very comfortable and the breakfast is just what an English breakfast should be wonderful food beautifully cooked, but if you are weight conscious the fresh fruit salad was wonderful. alla recensioner » At the last minute we were able to get a short break away so decided on Blackpool and the lights. The hotel is ideally situated to catch the tram into town or for a nice stroll. We could not wait until 9am for breakfast so were offered food to have in the room for breakfast - cereal and fresh fruit and a flask of milk. The room was clean and tidy, hosts welcoming and answered any queries. A lovely place to stay in Blackpool, especially if you want to be close to the attractions but not right in the centre of them! Very welcoming owners and a nice sea view double room (no 9). Some added touches made it feel that little bit more homely: bottled water, cotton wool/buds etc. Would definitely return to Windsor Park if we visit Blackpool again. Very friendly, welcoming couple owners. Cheap bar. Rooms absolutely spotless and tidy. Comfy bed. Breakfast was spot-on. Quieter area of the promenade in the north. Tram stop just outside hotel. Overall exactly the type of break we required. No rowdy loud groups booked into hotel. Lovely people lovely food. There was nothing to dislike. The only thing I could fault (if I had to) is the water pressure in the shower, took a while to wash my hair but that's it. No negatives to report. :). Its huge shower in room 9, but water pressure seemed very low, and water was on the cold side in the morning. Luckily for me it was a very warm weekend. The shower room in my single bedroom was a bit of a tight squeeze for me (I am a larger lady!) but the facilities were still adequate. The shower room in my son's double room was very comfortable. The room was lovely but was a little small also a later sunday check out would be nice. Nothing, all great. there is nothing bad to say about this hotel its my second home love the place and it wont belong before im back. Liked it all. nothing. Inconsiderate guests who don't take into account that people might actually want to sleep in the early hours of the morning! Having said that,John and Julie took great exception to this and nipped it in the bud straight away. Towels need updating (holes in them). There was nothing not to like. Stairs. Everything was perfect for us. There was no hair dryer in the room. Room a little small but had everything we needed. nothing negaative to say. Lack o fWiFi. N/A. Nothing. had a little problem when it come to washing as basin was too far set in the corner. Little bit further from tower than had expected, nice stoll if the weather is good, needed a taxi in the evenings. superior double room is nice size but double room is tiny more like a closet.Shower is tiny and you are barely able to move in it.TV is also very tiny , not enough electrical outlets.Cigararette burns on Duvet cover in room 3 a bit disgusting. A little far from the centre however great public transport links and the distance from the centre ensures a trouble free nights sleep.
