  Reception staff were very helpful and friendly and on arrival we found we had been upgraded. Restaurent staff were very efficient at breakfast and food was very varied and good.   Staff were very friendly and accomodating - nothing was too much trouble. This was highlighted when I was telling the receptionist how we were married at the George 18yrs ago but never got to stay in the 'teardrop room'; after checking her register she told us that the room was free and that we would be most welcome to use it.   We had a lovely 1 Night stay at Little Gables whilst visiting the surrounding area. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room was well presented, very clean and a good size. The little extra touches like sweets in the room, cake on arrival and complimentary shortbread were lovely. Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from. - Warm ... vad folk säger » welcome. Excellent breakfasts. Easy to find location. Short stroll to Wallingford and the Thames. Handy for the wedding near Watlington which we went to.

  Extremely friendly welcome, attentive without being intrusive, really liked the fact that the room was left just to me without housekeeping entering during the day, meant I could leave any equipment where I had been working on it. Spotlessly clean, lovely natural light streaming through windows.
