  Varmt välkomnande. Bra service. God mat och ett fantastiskt rum - The hotel was lovely. The setting was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, attractive and very clean. The whole setting had a wonderful atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff could not have done more to make us comfortable. The taste of the room, the nature and the views which can be seen from the hotel were excellent. Just staying in the hotel was good enough to enjoy the day. The staffs were very friendly.

  Room was so beautiful we wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel bit far from centre but we liked it that way. Walking was easy and park and ride was conveniently close although car park gets full quickly. Would love to go back in the summer.   Lovely breakfast room and full English breakfast.Loved being left alone and not having to be sociable. Enjoyed using the DVD selection and being able to park on the hotel forecourt. - Good location, very clean, high quality furnishings, ensuite was excellent, thick fluffy towels and toiletries included.   I stayed in a single room which was extremely cosy, comfy and quiet. The cooked breakfast was very delicious. Karen, the hostess, is really friendly and will provide you all the necessary info to ensure you will have an enjoyable stay in Bath. Alternatively you can take t - The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, having lived there for many years.They took to the time to make us feel extremely welcome and informed my girlfriend and I about where was good to visit in the city, whether it be a bar, restaurant or tourist attraction. The 4 poster room we stayed in, was bright, clean, extremely comfortable and had a aired of wealth about it. We had a great weekend away and the hotel/owners played a strong part in this.

A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

  The Kennard is absolutely exceptional!! It was by far the best place we stayed in during a 10 days trip to London and South-England. The extremely friendly owners run the hotel by creating a very warm and welcoming athmosphere. Wonderful choice of teas & filter coffees accompanied breakfast each morning. As well as a choice of three different fresh fruit juices.   Myself and my other half spent a beautiful, romantic weekend in Bath staying at The Prince of Wales. The stay was extremely pleasant - Clarissa and Graham were wonderful, kind hosts and we had a fantastic vegetarian English breakfast before heading into the city centre for some sightseeing. The accomm - Really nice greeting, very friendly and flexible to our needs, we were in room 1 which was lovely and light. It is a pub so isn't the kind of thing you'd expect at a hotel, but the friendliness and general atmosphere was much better than cold hotel. Our friends stayed at travelodge and paid more and were very disappointed. Breakfast was great, and I'd definitely stay again if back in that part of the world.5

  Brocks is a really lovely Guest house. Four of us stayed in the lovely top floor family room from which you can see the famous Crescent and the Circus. The décor was so pretty throughout the whole house and the attention to detail was amazing. The lounge was beautifully decorated for Christmas complete with a sparkling tree. Karen and Rachel made us feel so wel - We received a warm welcome from Karen and her daughter Rachel. Our room was at the top of the house but well worth the climb. It was exceptional, very clean, very comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. We had a choice of breakfast dishes which were served to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed. The house is in a fantastic position as everything is within easy walking distance. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocks Guest house
