The hotel itself is beautiful, you walk through a discrete regency front door into a wonderful combination of history, functionality and good taste. The bedrooms were spacious, extremely comfortable with all the touches you'd - The hotel is situated right in the middle of one of the most iconic Georgian buildings in the UK. The decor of the hotel is certainly in keeping with the grandeur of its location and the spa and restaurant were faultless. The service provided by the staff was impeccable - which is a first in my experience! All the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

  We cannot recommend the Tasburgh highly enough! Sue, the proprieter, is the most genuinely caring person and was so helpful to us throughout our stay. We stayed there over our wedding weekend and Sue and Toni were both generous with their time and support for us. The hotel itself is clean and good looking, the grounds very lovely indeed. A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.
