  I cannot fault this hotel on anything during my stay! It was a birthdaypresent for my boyfriend and the perfect setting for a romantic weekendaway... Countryside location, beautiful 'lodge' with original features,stunning, comfortable rooms, attention to detail, gourmet cuisine andhelpful, friendly staff! Everything it promises tobe and more and amazing value for money! - The setting of the Hotel was delightful, hotel staff very polite andefficient, the maitre d' was so friendly and extremley professional -food was excellent !!!! what more can I say - it was an excellentweekend, we will be going back !

  the reception staff were very helpful, after confusion about the type of room booked , it was rectified with no problems - Every thing about the gotel was First Class, even though we did not use all the facilities available

  Cannot fault the staff - lovely to deal with, and also in the Spruce Goose for breakfast. Lovely ladies who were a delight to talk to and were friendly with our two year old son. Room clean and we'll presented. - Very clean, new. Bowling, Ice skating, 2 minute walk, Spruce Goose Beefeater next door.   The breakfasts, including the service provided by the staff, were especially good. The room was comfortable, the bathroom/shower whilst not 'state of the art modern' was clean and easy to use, and the tea making facilities and toiletries provided were very good.
