  The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities and an ensuite showerroom. This was small, but perfectly adequate. William the owner, was very helpful and loaned me an iron and board due to my wedding outfit being creased on the journey. Great value for money! - Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.We received a warm, friendly welcome. Miller House is close to train station, shops and a short walk to beach. I liked the free WiFi which worked well, and dvds which were provided. I left v early and did not have breakfast, but i will return and try it next time.

The location was just right with no more than a 5 minute walk to the centre.   I travel alot for work and stay in numerous hotels. This hotel has been the best by far. Friendly staff who will go out of their way for you. Good food at reasonable prices the evening meal and breakfast were lovely. The rooms clean and comfortable.   The guesthouse is located in a nice part of Ayr, with shops and the beach just 5-10 minutes walk away. The house itself is nice. It's propably better suited for older travellers, but having said that, the owner made me and my two young children more than welcome. All in all you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in if you visit Ayr, especially at these prices. - Helen , the owner of The Richmond made us very welcome . The guest house has a great location being in a quiet residential area but still close to the seafront ( 5 minute walk) and city centre. I was with a group of friends rather than family and the large rooms allowed us to relax .A welcome change from cramped hotels. The breakfast was fantastic. I cannot recommend this high enough if you are visiting Ayr.
