  The staff were excellent. The owner was gracious, friendly, and informative. Yusef, the driver/guide for guesthouse tours and local trips was wonderful. He was friendly, funny, and a font of information in various languages. I usually avoid guided tours like the plague, but I would suggest considering theirs. He gave us a choice of the top floor rooms and offered to send one of his assistants to help transfer our luggage from the previous hotel. With his knowledge of the region and, given existing winter road conditions, we took one of tours offered by the guesthouse and conducted by Aslan himself.   Well-established hotel, a clean and spacious room with balcony overlooking the beautiful pool, the staff was very friendly and courteous and helped arrange a private tour to Mount Nemrut.
