Few of the staff did speak basic English. Room had ac but does not go
lower than 22c. very great shower inside of a clean bathroom. Wi-fi was
ok (not perfect) inside the room, but signal was not so good in the
higher levels of the hotel. -

I chose this guesthouse because of the beautiful flowers in the photos and the fact that it is connected to a women's cooperative. I couldn't have made a better choice. I was in Mardin to consider the possibility of pursuing dissertation research related to the local linguistic situation. The owners and staff of the guesthouse were so incredibly helpful in connecting me to people, that I can't imagine the difference had I not stayed there. a choice of the top floor rooms and offered to send one of his
assistants to help transfer our luggage from the previous hotel. With
his knowledge of the region and, given existing winter road conditions,
we took one of tours offered by the guesthouse and conducted by Aslan

One of the best deals I have come across in all my years traveling across Turkey. Not only in terms of price, but the customer service. Hotel is owner-managed & they go to great lengths to help me with information, transport etc. Language was not a barrier as they have Google Translate on all the time. Great wifi too - better than in Istanbul
