  The view from top floor!!! The sea at one hand, the blue mosque the other. I had no idea that we were THIS close to the mosque, it was literally across the street. The view was just breathtaking, so surreal. I didn't even care for the poor soundproofing walls or the morning preach that violently woke us up haha (which means how close we were to th... vad folk säger » e mosque). The view is definitely incomparable. - Location - The hotel was very close to the Sultanahmet tourist area, with some gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants right next door. The night manager (I think his name was Usman) was a good guide point to various areas and activities. The hotel itself is rather small, just enough room to put your bags and walk to you bed, but it is what you pay for.

  Among river side hotels, it has the broadest porch right by the river where we would spent all of our day, also a really wide garden- such a peaceful place. We stayed in one of the rooms with river view- incredible! Very comfortable and elegant. We have chosen this hotel by recommendation of a friend and we thought its the best one in Agva. There was a free shuttle 3 times daily to Taksim Square and Sultanahmet, the driver was polite and very careful with the passengers' safety. The room was clean, had all facilities, we have really felt like home. The breakfast was rich. Nearby there is a supermarket and a few restaurants/cafes. It is close to highway. There was parking underground and outside in front of the hotel. The internet connection was good.

They give you a briefing on the main sights. The hotel is new and tastefully decorated. Taxi drivers in Istanbul are also not very honest. So I highly recommend using the service (a big van!) when arriving in Istanbul. - The owners were amazing, taking the time to explain the history of Istanbul and lay out an itinerary for us on our tight schedule! The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Sultanahmet tram stop and it takes roughly an hour to get to from the Ataturk Airport. My fiance and I would highly recommend this hotel as it is an amazing value and right near the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace.

  A nice, quiet location, with a very gracious and thoughtful host, Mr. Taci. We spent a delightful evening in his company, and he brewed a special tea to help soothe my sore throat. It is also near Carrefour which is next to a shopping mall. There is also Mado right next to the building. It's 10-15 minutes walking time from Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque (sultanahmet tram stop). Do not try the cemberlitas tram stop as it is uphill and tiring.
