  We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. In summary, everything is excellent. - Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see. The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

  Well designed and renovated historical stone building. Rooms are comfortable and hotel is quiet. Staff is very nice and helpful. Very close to the center where you can find nice restaurants and shops. We had great time.

  The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about this and other historic moments. The elevator from 1895 can still run (though not always in use). They sell postcards and other souvenirs about the hotel at the front desk. Really a piece of history! The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

  Everything was so perfect. A hotel that everyone would dream of.   Communications with site management throughout the booking process were crisp and complete and when we arrived in Istanbul, the management team text'ed after our landing asking if we needed anything and that they would expect us shortly, giving us their cell number in case we had any questions. Running all the day to visit the city , for tourism or business, the return to the apartment (more space, balcony, lovely view of Istanbul) give a great time to end the day. Things we liked: - Location: the hotel is located in sultanahmet, which is close to the city's landmarks (TopKapi, Blumosque, AgaSofia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazzar) and others. The building is a historic one, after the restoration. Living in a tradition house is a special experience for travelers. Staff is extremely kind and helpful! Breakfast is quite simple but absolutely enough to start your day in Istanbul!
