This is a fantastic hotel if you want to stay in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The hotel is a few minutes walk to all the sights and in a quiet street. The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the view on the terrace is great. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning staff are meticulous! Ask for a room with a water view if you can!

The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

Very good apartments. Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. Frendly personnel fluent in English and Russian (special thanks to Yildiz!).
Very well for family tourism.

So I highly recommend using the service (a big van!) when arriving in Istanbul. - The owners were amazing, taking the time to explain the history of Istanbul and lay out an itinerary for us on our tight schedule! The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Sultanahmet tram stop and it takes roughly an hour to get to from the Ataturk Airport. My fiance and I would highly recommend this hotel as it is an amazing value and right near the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace.

We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. The view from top floor!!! The sea at one hand, the blue mosque the other. I had no idea that we were THIS close to the mosque, it was literally across the street. Location - The hotel was very close to the Sultanahmet tourist area, with some gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants right next door.
The night manager (I think his name was Usman) was a good guide point to various areas and activities.
The hotel itself is rather small, just enough room to put your bags and walk to you bed, but it is what you pay for.

Absolutely everything. Fantastic, large, modern spotless room which was a haven while travelling around Turkey. Great breakfast with loads of variety and more than we could eat. Everything about that hotel is great. If I were to rate it, it must be a 7 stars hotel, one of the best around the world. The staff speak excellent English and are very friendly and proffessional. Apart from the excellent and friendly service provided by the Hotel staff at every level, we liked the comfort and spaciousness of the rooms and the location of the Hotel, particularly its proximity to Florence Nightingale Hospital, which was the main reason of our travel to Istanbul from Ankara. Walking areas nearby and closeness to newly opened Marmaray Metro station to go to the European side under the Bosporus are additional positive factors about the Hotel.
