This is a modern hotel that has all the features of a four star hotel.
The room, though small, was very comfortable. Excellent bathroom with
tub and roll-in shower. It has an electric heated towel rack, and a
clever night light. Rooms have a small deck with a table and two chairs.

The staff is exemplary and the views are stunning. Annamarie and Justin are engaging and accommodating hosts while Carlos looks after every detail in the dining room. The hotel offers very easy access to the Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch and has the most incredible views of the Jungfrau and the waterfalls along the Lauterbrunnen Valley walls. Very highly recommended.

They allowed us to check in early since our room was ready. There was fresh fruit and water waiting for us in the room. The room had a nice view and refrigerator. Faultless. Attentive staff and perfect service. The attention to detail and level of service never faltered when they were busy and when things got quiet mid week.
We stayed in a peaceful room with a view to the rear wooded hillside and it was great. Clean and well serviced by discreet and polite staff. The breakfast and 5 course evening meal were just fantastic; plenty of everything and top quality produce and tastes.

This is an outstanding location, absolutely isolated from all noise and modern pollution. Just outstanding mountain scenery enjoyed from a comfortable historic building. A fine base for hiking, and for visiting the fascinating underground power stations.
